REFLEKTOR Light Festival is an urban light art exhibition – and a pioneering public event that explores the stories of light in our daily lives.
REFLEKTOR Light Festival showcase light art by upcoming light artists, designers and architects from Denmark and abroad. Fused with inspirational and explorative workshops, guided art walks and light talks, the festival provides the audience with a space for spiritual brakes, reflections, quiet contemplations and not least, new dimensions to and understandings of light.
The second edition of REFLEKTOR will take place this year amongst the wild growing nature and high treetops of Søndermarken, Copenhagen from 5-7 October 2017.
Behind the festival is a group of dedicated light geeks who are bringing their professional backgrounds in design, art, architecture and anthropology to the table.
To join our team raising to the challenge of putting light and art on the agenda we are looking for you! We don’t expect you to be there night and day, though we would love to hear from you if you want to lend us a hand with one of the following tasks:
- General build up, take down and construction of the art installations: 2 October – 8 October
- Hospitality, artists and volunteer coordination: 2 October – 8 October
- Press, audience surveys and documentation: 5 October – 7 October
- Audience guidance and information staff: 5 October- 7 October
