The professional photographer Kanda san will be exhibiting his photographic work of Noh plays in the embassy’s culture centre from 13th October – 5th November. Kanda san has for many years specialized in photographing Noh, and is an acknowledged expert in his field. The opening reception of the exhibition will be 13th Oct. at 18.00, please register in advance at info@nullembjapan.dk to join this event by Fri 8th .
Workshop: At the opening reception it will also be possible to join a small photography workshop!
Bring your own camera (single-lens reflex camera if possible, but compact cameras are also OK) and learn the secrets of photographing the unique Noh masks.
A corner of the room will be set up with 2 Noh masks ready to photograph. All those interested will be divided into 4 groups, given each 10 min. to shoot with instructions from Kanda san.
The exhibition will be open from 13 October to 5 November in the culture centre at Pilestræde 61, 1112 Kbh. K. Opening hours: Weekdays 10.00-12-30 and 14.00-16.00. (Free entrance)
