Daily Fiction arbejder i et krydsfelt mellem dans, teater og performancekunst med vægt på kropslige transformationer. Performancen MIND THE GAP er et personligt opgør med væksten, der trækker debatten om energi og klima ind i et personligt rum. I værket flettes en kropslig fortolkning af råoliens tempo, tilstand og dannelsesproces ind i en autofiktiv fortælling om Tora Balslevs sommerferietur til Schweiz, der synliggør kontrasten mellem oliens lange dannelsestid og tidsligheden i måden, vi bruger den på. Transformationen iværksættes af reallyde, som manipuleres live på scenen af komponist Knud Riishøjgaard.

Overgaden PROJECT // Daily Fiction presents MIND THE GAP
Daily Fiction works in an intersection between dance, theater and performance, focusing on bodily transformations. The performance MIND THE GAP is a personal break with the concept of ‘growth’ that brings the debate on energy and climate into a personal space. In the work, a physical interpretation of the pace, state, and formation process of crude oil is merged with an auto fictional tale of Tora Balslev’s summer trip to Switzerland, which highlights the contrast between the long process of the coming into being of the oil and the temporality of the way we use it. The transformation is triggered by real-time sounds manipulated live on stage by composer Knud Riishøjgaard. The event will be in Danish.
