THE JURY FOR 60SECONDS 2010

Michael Noer. Born 1978, Denmark. Graduated from the National Film School of Denmark, 2003. Has several awardwinning documentary films to his credit. »Vesterbro« (2007): screened at numerous international festivals including CPH:DOX, where it won a Special Mention. »Doxwise Diary« (2008). »The Wild Hearts« (2008) was selected for the Dox Award competition at CPH:DOX. »R« (2010) is his feature film debut.

Martin de Thurah. Born 1974, Denmark. Has a background in art. Graduated in animation direction from the National Film School of Denmark, 2002. Visual-effects artist on Danish feature films and director of music videos and short films. His Carpark North video »Human« won Best Music Video at RESFEST, a Grammy at the Danish Music Awards and a Grand Prix at the Festival International des Art du Clip in Provence, and Thurah won Best New Director award at the CADS Music Vision Awards in London. His first film, the short fiction »Ung mand falder«/»Young Man Falling« (2007), was selected for the International Critics’ Week in Cannes.

Jeannette Ehlers. Born 1973, Denmark. Graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts 2006. She lives and works in Copenhagen. Over the last few years Jeannette Ehlers has concentrated her work on the digital image and its possibilities in the form of computer-manipulated videos – more specifically with found footage which she treats frame by frame. She has received among others Keramikeren fru Ville Christensens Legat, The Danish Arts Council. The Danish Arts Foundation. Ragnvald & Ida Blix Foundation. Montana (With Time Bandits). Ernst B. Sunds Fond (With Time Bandits). Københavns billedkunstudvalg (With Time Bandits).

Facts about the 60 Seconds Film Festival.
The film festival 60 Seconds is an open competition for all movie directors and movie enthusiasts in Denmark and abroad.
The topic and style is free. The director has 60 seconds to make an impression on the travelers in the Metro.
A professional film jury will select the ten best films that will be shown in the Metro during the festival. The same jury will choose the winner film.

The films are shown simultaneusly at 9 underground stations, each station has 6 publicity screens.
The director has 60 seconds to make an impression on the travelers at the Copenhagens Metro.
Documentary, animation, art and narrative genres are accepted.
No entry fee for submissions.
