TREE.0 AND THE SMART CITY

Can TREE.0 help us create different spaces in densely populated areas?

TREE0 AND THE SMART CITY billede

TREE.0 is a 6 meter high tree in metal, which over three months will have a digital shadow growing through movement and interaction with the pedestrians on Vester Voldgade. Meet Liselott Stenfeldt, Team Leader & Architect MAA, Interactive Spaces Lab, Alexandra Institute.

Workshop: Improving urban space through data
What data can help improve urban space, and how? During this workshop you will get a short introduction to a new prototype at Vester Voldgade, TREE.0, and on this basis you’ll be working in groups to investigate and discuss which types of data that are relevant, necessary or perhaps dangerous to collect when working to improve urban space and city life. You will be working with specific spaces in inner Copenhagen and your inputs will be documented and applied to the on-going work with data and digital-physical urban projects conducted by the Alexandra Institute. We will finish the workshop with networking and drinks.
