Understanding how innate dispositions, shaped by evolution, influences culture and media has become an important focus for film studies and literary studies. Two distinguished scholars within this field, professor Joseph Carroll, U. of. Missouri, St. Louis and associate professor Francis Steen, UCLA, will lecture on the use of evolutionary studies in literature. Scholars from University of Copenhagen, Professor Torben Grodal, research assistant Andreas Gregersen, phd,. Mette Kramer, phd. student Mogens Olesen, and associate professor Johannes Riis, will lecture on the use of evolutionary methods in Film and Media Studies.
